Moel Rhos No. 3 emerges from the tunnel in the Easter Monday evening sun and toots her newly radio controlled whistle.

Thanks everyone for your photos this weekend (almost 50 posts comprising over 130 pictures!) it’s been wonderful seeing them all. Posting is closed for now, but the site remains open for viewing.

If, as seems likely, we’re still in lockdown – shall we do this again for the VE Day Bank Holiday weekend 8-10 May?

Looking at the photos I take is a reminder for things that need shifting up the to-do list: paint those sand-pots, trim that rosemary, etc. etc.

In preparation for the virtual meet-up, I’m testing what happens if I email several images.

The first image shows Gannet pulling a train along the old red sandstone ledge, having emerged from the southern tunnel.
The second image shows Gannet entering the northern tunnel from the ledge.
The third image is a photo of a primrose, with a train in the background!
