The short train climbs up from the small harbour through Shear Gorge, passing the old mine entrance (now haunted), over the spring bridge, the stream glistening in the morning sun, and on up to the quarry. It’s a windy day in early April and the shrubs along the line have yet to bloom.
Shearstream Light Railway
Haunted? By a ghost train? ?
Wonderful pics – love the stream. Amazing the tail light is glowing even on such a sunny day!
This site is a great idea, Simon. Thanks for setting it up and for your kind comments. More to come…
